- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am new to Florida and was appalled at the way I was treated by Dr. Marcelli. She was rude, cold, had no compassion for my situation and she is also a bold faced liar. Firstly, I was forced to pay $200 upfront without any description of what I was paying for. Secondly, they made me watch a 15 min video on malpractice & sign a waiver giving up my right to a jury should I take them to court. And worst of all, she told me she was going to run a test on me and asked me to wait in the waiting room and she would call me back in for the results. After sitting there for approximately 15 minutes; the very sweet receptionist (Roberta) asked me if I was waiting for my prescription, to which I responded, no the doctor said she was going to call me back in and tell me the results. The receptionist then handed me 2 prescriptions and said here, they'll call you with your test results. At this point I am thoroughly confused, so I ask Roberta how long this test will take, she goes to ask the doctor and returns and says it has to be sent to the lab so hopefully by Friday. I was completely horrified, what did I just pay $200 for? I wasn't given any diagnosis, I was told I would brought back into the room to find out test results, and now I have 2 prescriptions and I don't even know what for? Why wasn't I given my prescriptions in the room with an explanation? Why was I lied to when the doctor knew the test results weren't immediate? And now the doctor is performing a procedure on someone else and is unavailable to speak with and ask questions! I really wish I would have known before I trusted these people with such a personal issue and I would not recommend ESPECIALLY this doctor or this facility to anyone! I guess I should have known when I was calling around and places weren't accepting new patients and/or booked until August and September.......and these people got me in on the very same day I called.....now I see why!August 03, 2017by Jennifer Lo
